Benefit concert for Nepal
Benefit concert for Nepal is a charity event to support the population of Nepal, whose homes were destroyed by the devastating earthquake in April. To the accompaniment of sensitively composed music of the Chamber Orchestra of the University of Hradec Králové viewers will be screened the uncommented film of the famous traveller Ulrich Bubák, who has supported this region for many years and here he himself will also oversee the implementation of aid provided from the proceeds from the benefit evening. The event is held under the auspices of the Vice-President of the Czech Senate Miluše Horská,Governor of the Pardubice region Martin Netolický and the mayor of the city of Pardubice Martin Charvát. The evening will be hosted by Czech Radio presenter Petra Beránková and the music therapy choir of the school Svítání Mlima Jua will perform.
